Distinguished guests and Dear colleagues,

It is a great joy and honor for us to invite you to participate in Balkan Fungus 2026 – the 4th Balkan Conference on Medical Mycology and Mycotoxicology, which this year is taking place in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) between 1-3 October. Romania is hosting this event second time, after the inaugural edition in Timisoara (2018). This edition aims to bring together colleagues eager to broaden their knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of fungal infections: microbiologists, clinicians, and veterinarians from as many specialties as possible. During the 3 days of the conference, relying on the experience of our valuable speakers, we intend to bring to you the latest aspects in fungal pathology.
